First Response First Aid Ltd has provided open first aid courses in Aldridge since 1999 and Calderfields Golf and Country provides an ideal venue for first aid training. Candidates are greeted on arrival with tea and coffee.  At break times (morning and afternoon) candidates enjoy more tea, coffee, water and biscuits.  At lunch time they are treated with an amazing hot and cold buffet lunch...”You must try the famous country club wedges”.

By rail

Walsall is well served by rail links from throughout the West Midlands. On leaving the station, turn right down Station St, right again down Park St, take a left at The Bridge and you will see Walsall bus station ahead. See 'By bus' section below for connecting bus services. 

By bus

There are regular bus services connecting all parts of the West Midlands with Walsall 
town centre. From there, take the number 6, 7, or 7A service to Longwood Bridge, Aldridge Road. The bus stop is opposite The Dilke pub which shares the access road with Calderfields.

Ample free parking is available at the venue.

From M6, Junction 10 (Southbound)

Leave the M6 at junction 10, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A454 (signposted Walsall)

At traffic signals continue forward onto the A4148 (signposted Ring Road, Cannock A34)

At traffic signals continue forward (signposted Ring Road, Cannock)

At traffic signals continue forward onto the A4148

At traffic signals turn left onto the A461 (signposted Lichfield)

At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A454 (signposted Aldridge)

At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A454

At roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A454

Turn right into access road for The Dilke pub and Calderfields Golf and Country Club. 

Follow the road down until you reach the car park

From M6, Junction 7 (Northbound)

Leave the M6 at junction 7, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto unnamed road

Branch left, then merge onto the A34 (signposted Walsall)

At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A34

Continue forward onto the A4148

At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4148 (signposted Ring Road, Lichfield)

At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4148 (signposted Ring Road, Cannock A34)

At roundabout again take the 2nd exit onto the A4148 (signposted Ring Road, Cannock A34)

Turn right onto Northgate - B4152

At roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A454
