Celebrating 20 Years of First Response (First Aid) Ltd

Twenty years ago, Bill Curtis from Great Wyrley retired from the West Midlands Police force and started First Response (First Aid) Ltd, a first aid training provider based in Walsall.

Bill Curtis First Response First Aid Ltd

The business, which once operated from Bill’s family home, has since become one of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of First Aid Training, Food Safety Training and Health and Safety Training.

Now, three generations of the family are employed in this ever-growing company which last year trained people from all over the UK to give faultless first aid.

This is set to increase in 2020 with four new venues offering open courses across the Midlands.

First Response (First Aid) Ltd, who are now based at a new headquarters in Brownhills, have boundless enthusiasm and a great willingness to adapt to their customer’s needs; whether that be delivering training to a small group of childminders or a global company.

First Aid Training Courses

The company motto has always been to ‘provide high-quality training at affordable prices’ and this is something that the First Response (First Aid) Ltd team have always stood by.

As the business has grown over the years, they have been able to expand their range of services and the venues where they can provide them.

First Response (First Aid) Ltd now offer a wide breadth of first aid courses across the UK, from Mental Health First Aid Training to Manual Handling eLearning Courses.

Testimonials

Bill believes that one of the keys to their success is that they have made every customer feel important like they are the only customer.

One of the course delegates on a recent Fire Safety Training course left this feedback:

"Firstly, may I say that our recent Fire Marshal course was FABULOUS. It was the best course any of us had ever been on

The trainer was excellent and kept everyone’s attention for the whole duration. There was not one single yawn all the way through and it even gave us the impression of a team-building exercise."
